traceless.timer
Timers belong to the current script, use a monotonic millisecond clock, and are processed by the runtime pump. Unload discards pending timers.
after
traceless.timer.after(delay_seconds, callback, ...)
Returns: none.
Requires a finite numeric delay and a function in a running script. Negative delays become zero; execution occurs on a later runtime pump, not inside this call. Additional arguments are stored in a Lua array, so nil holes are not a reliable way to preserve trailing arguments. Overflow, invalid callback, and allocation failure raise errors. There is no cancellation handle.
