traceless.schema

Supported type strings: bool, int8, uint8, int16, uint16, int32, uint32, float, vector, and handle. Array indices are zero-based and default to 0. The field must be found in the entity schema and its selected byte range must fit the field; unsupported type names raise errors.

traceless.schema.read(entity, field, type [, array_index = 0])

Returns: boolean, number, Vector, or entity userdata; or nil, reason.

Entity must be a validated handle; field and type are strings. Missing fields, stale handles, invalid ranges, and null/stale handle fields return nil with a reason. vector reads return an independent vector; handle reads resolve to typed userdata. Reads do not expose raw pointers.
