traceless.materials

Returns native material userdata. Only already loaded VMAT resources are enumerated; an additional force_load argument is ignored. Material operations require the native resource to remain valid. Modulation can affect other users of that material.

find_material

traceless.materials.find_material(name)

Returns: Material userdata; or nil.

Searches native material resources using an exact, case-insensitive string name. Missing resource or resource system returns nil.

find_materials

traceless.materials.find_materials(name)

Returns: array of Material userdata.

Searches using a case-insensitive substring filter and returns all matching materials. No matches or unavailable resources return an empty table.
